Wall Gardens

Green walls, vertical gardens allow you to transform a wall into a living, vibrant growing space. Early days, we have been trialling Portulacaria Afra Aurea, Cascade and Variegata in the new range of Holmann’s pots to establish a low water vertical garden. The trials have been done as single variety plantings. Consideration needs to be given to the selection of plant material used and its suitability, evaluation and suitable potting mix, the watering process, trimming, maintenance, fertilising and longitivity plus the overall aesthetic appeal of the wall also have to be taken into a count.
